In 1986, the world of watches witnessed a seismic shift with the introduction of TAG Heuer's Formula One timepieces. With their vibrant colours and innovative designs, they captured the essence of an era and became a symbol of pioneering watchmaking.
Fast forward to today, and TAG Heuer have reignited that same spirit with a modern twist in collaboration with Kith. The Formula One collection holds a special place in TAG Heuer's history, marking the brand's evolution following Techniques d’Avant Garde's acquisition of Heuer.
These ten new watches, are as bold as their predecessors and have the same undeniable vintage charm with a contemporary flair.
Kith x Tag Heuer Design
The collection is made up of Ten brand new watches categorised into three groups: TAG Heuer store exclusives, Kith store exclusives, and a shared model which will be sold by both brands. The shared model features a conventional all steel design with a five link bracelet and a black bezel. TAG Heuer's offerings consist of two watches: one in green and one in blue, each with matching rubber straps.

It's clear maintaining the original essence was paramount with these pieces. Tag Heuer went to the original supplier and the exact moulds were used ensuring theses new iterations reflect the 1986 watches.
The Formula One dial, adorned with iconic TAG-shaped indices and signature minute markers showcases a modern twist in some brilliant new colourways. The stainless steel case features Kith & Kin branding [above the 12'oclock of the bezel], an engraved case back featuring Kith Monogramming, and edition numbering.

Yes, The rubber city editions have a limited run of 250 pieces each, while the steel city editions are restricted to 350 pieces. TAG Heuer's exclusives, featuring blue and green hues with steel cases, are limited to 825 pieces. Fortunately, the shared model, sporting a black bezel and steel case and bracelet boasts the largest quantity at 1,350 pieces.
Additionally, there's an option to purchase a presentation box containing all 10 watches.
