Panerai continues to push the boundaries of watchmaking with the introduction of the Luminor Dieci Giorni GMT Ref. PAM01482. This latest addition to the Luminor collection showcases Panerai's commitment to innovation and technical excellence, featuring a remarkable 10 day power reserve.
The Luminor Dieci Giorni GMT is powered by the in house calibre P.2003, an automatic movement that boasts a substantial power reserve and a host of features. This movement, which has been a staple in Panerai’s line up since 2007, includes a GMT function, date display, and a seconds reset device for precise time setting.
Housed in a 44mm polished stainless steel case, the watch maintains the iconic Luminor design with its cushion shaped case and the famous lever activated crown guard.
The dial is a striking blue sun brushed sandwich style, known for its luminous hour markers that enhance visibility. The sub dial at 9 o’clock serves both as a small seconds display and an AM/PM indicator, adding to the watch’s functionality.
One of the standout features of this model is it's linear power reserve indicator, positioned at 6 o’clock. "Dieci Giorni" translates directly into English as "Ten Days" This bar style feature not only highlights the watch’s extended power reserve but also adds a unique visual element to the dial. The watch comes with a dark blue alligator strap and an additional rubber strap, offering versatility in style.
Jean Marc Pontroué, CEO of Panerai, emphasises the brand's dedication to blending enduring performance with Italian design. The 10 day power reserve, originally developed for practical reasons to reduce wear on gaskets and enhance water resistance, now offers modern users the convenience of less frequent winding.
