Welcome to Monaco F1 2024, an event that blends the thrill of high speed racing with the elegance of luxury timepieces. As a long time fan of both motorsports and watches, I can’t think of a better way to spend the last weekend in May. Let’s dive into the highlights and the most remarkable watches spotted at this year's event.
Qualifying Monaco F1 2024
The Monaco Grand Prix is always a spectacle, but 2024 took it to another level. Any F1 fan knows the Monaco race is won or lost on the Saturday during Qualifying, given the difficulty of overtakes on such a tight track during the Sunday race. In a year where Max Verstappen has taken pole at the last 8 races, the local Monegasque favourite Charles Leclerc claimed pole after a sensational lap, threading the streets of Monaco with absolute precision at an average speed of 122 MPH.
Race Day F1 Monaco 2024
Huge congratulations to Charles Leclerc for his win, making him the first Monegasque driver to Win at home in 93 years. After a red flag bought the race to a holt on lap one, Leclerc aced the restart and led 78 laps flag to flag.

Starting with Charles Leclerc, rarely seen at any race track without a Richard Mille on the wrist, this weekend was no different.

Following the special "one off" Chameleon Dial Black Bay seen in Miami, Daniel Ricciardo was spotted wearing the team's Black Bay Ceramic during a talk on the Monaco Fan Zone stage. The unmistakable Blue Dial is hard to miss.
